Author's Information for the 2004 IEEE Compound Semiconductor IC Symposium formerly the IEEE GaAs IC Symposium

All Abstracts must be received by May 3, 2004.
Abstracts: The abstract is not required to be in any specific page layout but must be in a Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf file formats. The abstract required information is outlined in the Call for Papers and must have Title, Authors, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, company name appearing at the top of the first page. Accepted Abstracts: Papers accepted for presentation at the symposium will be printed as extended abstracts in the Technical Digest of the 2004 IEEE CSIC Symposium and on CD ROM, which will be available to qualified registrants at the meeting. The extended abstracts are 4-pages in length maximum and the required format can be seen in the example extended abstract which is downloadable from this page. The downloadable Author Biography and Paper Questionnaire forms must be filled out and returned as noted on the forms. All Extended Abstracts must be received by August 22, 2004.
All Extended Abstracts (Digest Ready) must be submitted through the IEEE website with the appropriate conference code (to be provided on this site in the future with the link to the IEEE submission page). The website will generate an IEEExplore compliant .pdf document and e-mail it back to the author for verification of accuracy. The author must then approve the .pdf file. Authors will be contacted by the IEEE with submission details upon paper acceptance to the Symposium. Contact Mary Curtis for more information on extended abstract submission.
Instructions for Submitting Final Papers:
1) You will need to complete the registration and payment first as this is a requirement for publication of the paper in the proceedings. The registration confirmation number is also required in order to submit the paper online. Conference registration is available by following this link->: Registration Link
2) Please go to the following website: http://www.ieee.org/conferencepublishing. The conference ID is csics04 (all lowercase). All preparation instructions as are posted to this site. An Electronic Copyright form is available when submitting your paper.
3) Once you have registered go to the website above and click on the link "Submit your manuscript online" to set up an account. Once this has been done you may submit the source file (MS Word, etc) to the site. The file will then be converted to a pdf and you will receive an email asking you to approve the pdf proof. You may click on the link for the electronics copyright form to complete the process.
